Anonymous twitter profiles was integral to the start of web3 and the NFT space. However, it has proven to be very insecure. The time of anonymity is over. Anonymity is not a necessity to web3 by any means. The truth is that more harm than good comes from people being anonymous on the internet. People act more group-oriented when the veil of anonymity is lifted. This is a good thing whether you want to believe it or not. When people are in the shadows, they feel invincible.
