All I hear when people speak about token drops is, “what’s the utility?”. Well, why is no one talking about Gutter Market or “The Market Place”. There’s a Twitter handle dedicated to it, @GutterMarket (this should have 10k followers already), it’s in every teaser image, yet all anyone wants to talk about is how much $gang they will get.
Let’s zoom out; where are you most likely to want to use $gang? An overpriced merch drop, nahh. You want to use it in a secure marketplace built by the team you trust for the community you love. So, what do I think will happen in the marketplace? Trades, of course, but much, much more. The ability to purchase assets in $gang from juice to rats to cats (before @r0seny comes after me, yes, and pigeons), merch of course, as everyone loves it, and the gang has some of the best out there. Maybe tickets to next season’s TBT tournament, and I will bet that you can purchase Gutter Art from the marketplace.
But what else? METAVERSE and P2E, you’ll be able to buy new threads for your cat, a new weapon for your dog, and maybe a ride for your rat. I would be surprised if you couldn’t purchase a trap house or a mansion for all your homies to hang out. Don’t forget about the community and our partners; you’ll be able to buy Gutter Mud or Reg Reuben’s BAF jackets, Puma gear, and, if I have my way, some tickets to some professional sports teams’ arenas. The possibilities are endless, and I know many communities and partner brands will be ready to go.
Oh, and I guess FROGS for frog fights.
The one thing that excites me most about the MP is that it will create a much safer environment for people to trade; we are very good at trust trades in the gang, but having an official place to do this safely will help to avoid a lot of people getting fooled. This sort of utility from day one or close to day one will increase the value of the $gang token dramatically. There is so much planned for the launch that I can’t even whisper, but all you need to know is people are working super hard behind the scenes to provide a dope experience for us all.
Gang Gang.
